Green Drinks Twickenham has been going since 2008 started by colleagues working for a local environmental charity, which ultimately became Habitats & Heritage in 2020. We are mostly local people and are involved in various environmental charities, groups, campaigns, the public sector and people who have a passion for protecting the environment and conservating nature (and a bit of heritage) who come together to talk about all things environmental. Local enviromental charities and groups also use our Drinks for networking between them. In 2023 we added 'gold' becoming Green & Gold Drinks to bring in heritage interests, friends and colleagues.
The Drinks are on the last Thursday of every month from 6:30pm till late in The Eel Pie pub, Church Street, Twickenham TW1 3NJ (about 8 mins walk from the station and less from lcal bus stops). Usually, but not always, we are in the back of the pub behind the bar - just ask the bar staff.
We welcome everyone to come along to our safe space to make new connections and share news, insights, activities, events, strategies and conversations with like-minded people. Many friendships has formed from the Drinks.
