Brandon Pitcher, who resides in Kokomo, is our speaker this month. He is currently the Director of Systems Design for 5 Kindoms Development, LLC., a sustainability systems design and community adaptation consulting firm and Vice-President of Fortune Management, Inc, an Indiana based full-service real estate development company that specializes in urban revitalization and reuse of materials. Brandon is a certified Zero Emissions Research & Initiatives (ZERI) Systems Designer with over 8 years of diverse global experience in sustainability outreach & education, zero emissions & waste consulting, and sustainable brownfields redevelopment. He has presented over 300 times on sustainability and has been involved in projects in all over the world from research to design and development over the past ten years. Visiting projects in nearly 40 countries, Brandon traversed the globe to learn from the best in the field to return to Indiana to expose others to the opportunities ahead within this emerging economy. His topics will include: A Systems Approach to Sustainability: Zero Emissions and the 21st Century Economy, Co-Evolution with Nature (integration w/Bacteria, Algae, Fungus, Plants, and Animals), Integrated Projects in Energy, Food, Health, Water, Architecture and Education, CO2 Sequestration strategies that have been implemented and Opportunities in subjects and fields with rapid job creation potential.
