Bremerton GreenDrinks is a monthly, social networking event for community leaders, concerned citizens, elected officials, business professionals, and anyone wanting to be involved in making Bremerton a thriving, sustainable community; and meet others who feel the same. Usually the second Thursday of each month from 5-8 pm is hosted by a local business. A $10 donation is requested to offset the costs of our enthusiastic food and drink sponsors. Advance tickets are recommended.
Every month features a 10 minute speaker on sustainable issues, and we actively encourage meeting new people. Friendships, business relationships, new customers, and even new careers have all been forged at GreenDrinks.
Past events have been held on a rooftop, at a marina, a garden nursery, art galleries, libraries, USS Turner Joy, a restored theater, a yoga studio, an architecture firm's LEED platinum building, the 3rd story deck of a credit union, the newly remodled patio at the regional hospital, and at many locally-owned bars and restaurants. For future events, we are working on expanding to even more unique venues. Our recent outdoor summer Green Drinks had in excess of one hundred people and are highly anticipated annual events.
