A message from your new Organizer, Jennifer Lam…
When I heard about Green Drinks in one of my Green Designation courses recently, I immediately sent an email to the Chapter asking about the next meeting. Darlene sent me a prompt response and we began a brief correspondence that led to my accepting the Organizer’s position with the Houston Chapter. This opportunity came at a great time for me, as my career begins to move in a greener direction. I promise you my best efforts as your new Chapter Organizer.
Darlene and I have worked the past few days to make sure the transition of leadership goes smoothly. I appreciate all she has done and am happy she is staying on to help with some of the tasks in front of us. I feel I have made a good friend.
Please email me at jen@greendrinkshouston.org so I can add you to our mailing list. Once I have located a meeting place and set a date for my first meeting, you will receive an email. I look forward to meeting all of you and encourage you to bring your friends and co-workers. I hope you will think of Green Drinks Houston as a place where you can meet new friends and business contacts, exchange ideas, discuss issues important to our planet …all in a relaxed environment. Green Drinks is Green Networking at its best.
As my plans for our Chapter begin to come together, I will be seeking the help of volunteers who want to be part of our future. If you feel you would enjoy volunteering for our Chapter, please contact me. I would love to hear from you.
Jennifer (Jen) Lam
Organizer, Green Drinks Houston
