Cairns Green Drinks
Interested in the environment, sustainability, social justice…? Come along, relax and enjoy some good company at Cairns Green Drinks – a monthly event for socialising and professional networking.
We have a lively mixture of people from non government organisations, academia, government and business. Come along and you’ll be made welcome. Just say, “are you green?” and we will look after you and introduce you to whoever is there. It’s a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts. Everyone invites someone else along, so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organising network.
Venue: Green Ant Cantina, Bunda St, Cairns
Date rule: the second Friday of each month
Time: from 5:30pm
Cost: free entry, pay for own drinks/food
No RSVP required, everyone welcome.
The aim of Cairns Green Drinks is to encourage networking, creativity and thought on environmental and social justice issues and projects. Green Drinks are agenda-free and non-politically aligned. People from business, not-for-profit, government and academia are welcome, as well as those with personal projects.
