I hope to recieve some suggestions for events, but there are more than enough activities and parties throughout September and October (see hei.org.au for a list) which provide a great excuse for a GD party! Let us know where we should be planning to gather, your thoughts are on a venue or event! Drop us a note!

Welcome to this event notice, its a larger event (and hope this gets a crowd!). September and October are crazy months for events, so look out for one near you. We also welcome suggestions. We know that a lot of people remain interested in connecting with the broader enviro community, and we do value feedback and suggestions for future events. Thanks for your suppport, and we look forward to building our community. Watch this space for updates.

DG Sponsor and Prizes

We are able to promote worthwhile environmentally aware businesses, perhaps even hold an event at your premises.

The raffles often support Fig Tree Community Garden, http://www.figtree.org.au (or nominated alternative). Fig Tree Community Gardens, is locate in Albert Street, Wickham (enter via the Wickham Croation Sports Club). It's a great venue to hang out, do some gardening, play giant chess, practice lawn bowl (free if you ask nicely) or just want to smell the flowers (many varieties).

About the organisers

Greendrinks in Newcastle is run by a small team of volunteers (Scott and Toby, hi, and Mark has offered to lend his moral support too). The organisers support the greendrinks concept of providing an opportunity to meet people and interact socially. We have many interesting conversations, and we encourage you to mix in.  Greendrinks internationally is supported by people who think that thinking is important.

Keep an eye on this website for updates. And for inclusion on the mailing list email Scott or Toby.
