Concord Green Drinks will be a platform that drives networking, conversation and networking in Cabarrus County. If you are a green geek, green chick or a green dude, then this is the place for you. We gather together collectively to share ideas, information, business opportunities and laughs. With a drink (of some sort) in one hand and a business card in the other, you will find that there's no other place to be. Green Drinks offers a free social event for anyone interested in learning or being educated about sustainable, recycling, reusing, reducing, environmental improvements indoors/outdoors and much more.

Red, White and Water Campaign Aims to Motivate Citizens to Action on Coal-Related Water Pollution
Appalachian Voices, an environmental non-profit organization, is bringing its Red, White and Water campaign to inform citizens about the threats that coal pollution poses to our waterways. The group is focused on the attempts by members of the U.S. Congress to stop the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency from finalizing a number
of rules that would reduce pollution from coal-fired power plants. They are encouraging people to become more educated about current threats to North Carolina’s water and to speak to decision-makers about these threats.
