View masterpieces of marine trash while learning about its impact on local and global environments. This temporary exhibit features:

- Artwork of Newport Middle School students

- Findings from a scientific study conducted locally by the NOAA Center

for Coastal Fisheries and Habitat Research

NC Coastal Stormwater Rules

Compromise reached on coastal stormwater rules. Neither the environmentalists nor the development community got everything they wanted. But it appears that three years after the state began the process of strengthening coastal stormwater rules, a compromise has been hashed out in Raleigh.
