Green Drinks Fitchburg launched in early 2017. Each month, we set up a gathering at a local venue in or around Fitchburg, Massachusetts. (See details under "Next Event" below.)
We aim to attract a fun crowd of sustainability-minded people who want to connect and converse while enjoying a tasty beverage. No agenda. Just stop by to meet and chat with nice folks who share your interest in the environment, community, and sustainability.

Recap: Wow what a great place right in the heart of downtown Fitchburg! Had a great night at River Styx Brewing. Lively conversation and great local beers. Right before voting day, so we got to mingle with a handful of folks running for local office. Great to get their perspective on green issues and more.

Recap: What a fun time! Live music, local beers, and a gorgeous evening overlooking Fitchburg from the deck at Hollis Hills. It was great catching up with the usual crowd and meeting some new people too. The conversation bounced around a lot - solar farms, electric cars, phthalates, local biking and running, upcoming guided hikes, orchard manaegment, and the upcoming city council elections.

Recap: Green Drinks Fitchburg did a great job taking over the Beemers patio and bringing some extra life to Main Street on a beautiful spring evening. Green conversation topics included: local government, the vast amount of stuff going on in Fitchburg, a plastic bag ban, soil remediation, solar development, Tesla's new solar roofing, last month's climate marches, litter picking, federal environmental policy, and more!
