VALPARISO GREEN DRINKS

What the HEC is happening at the Indiana Statehouse?

Kim Ferraro, Senior Staff Attorney with the Hoosier Environmental Council, will present “What the HEC is Happening at the Indiana Statehouse?” on Monday, February 16.  In her presentation, Ferraro will provide attendees with a comprehensive update on 2015 legislative issues and priorities, followed by a discussion on how to get involved and make a difference in the legislative process.

Some powerful industries are pushing the General Assembly to pass some of the most sweeping and environmentally damaging bills this session.

Come learn what you can do to help stop these measures from becoming law.

The event will be held at Greek's Pizzeria at 59 Indiana Avenue in Valparaiso.  Drinks, food, and conversation start at 6:30 pm and Ferraro's presentation at 7:00 pm. Time for Q&A will follow.  There is a suggested donation of $5 for adults and $2 for students.

Valparaiso Green Drinks meets bi-monthly on the third Monday.  All are welcome to attend.
