January is coming up and so is our next Green Drinks meeting.

 

We would like to invite you to the Elks Lodge (40 North Water Street, Franklin, Indiana) on Monday January 24^th at 7:00.  Our speaker will be Brenda Rising-Moore from Green Broad Ripple.  Here is some Bio info:

 

Owner of Union Jack Pub in Broad Ripple Village and co-founder of Green Broad Ripple, a 501(c)3, not-for-profit corporation dedicated to building a sustainable village community. 

 

Co-convener of Envision Broad Ripple,  a group of 22 charter-type meetings with residents, property owners, shopkeepers and restaurant/bar owners.  For 2 1/2 years we have worked with senior city planners to chart the future master plan for Broad Ripple Village.

 

Broad Ripple Alliance for Progress Board member - the 501)c)3 arm of the Broad Ripple Village Association.

 

Brenda will be talking to us about “Zero-Waste-Zones, The first step is the hardest...deciding to embrace the philosophy”. 

 

We hope you can come out and join us.  We will be meeting in the Elk’s big room upstairs and adult beverages will be available for purchase at their bar downstairs.
