You don’t want to miss this presentation by Andy Hazzard, our natural farming guru, on how we can support sustainable agriculture and healthy eating through farmers markets and Community Supported Agriculture. Andy owns and operates Hazzard Free Farms in Pecatonica.
Green Drinks Rockford is a fun networking event for environmentally minded people. This new monthly series hosted by The Green Communities Coalition will enable participants to share new ideas, develop inspired solutions, join the discussion, learn about opportunities to work for change and make a difference... whatever you want it to be. So, join us for a drink and meet and network with like-minded individuals who share your interest in building a sustainable society and planet. It’s a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts.
These events are very simple and unstructured, but the format will include door prizes, cash bar featuring green alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, green nibbles for $4, a short informative presentation, speed announcements and networking.
