Update from Oct 7th, 2010: We are currently in a state of hibernation for winter (or longer?). Perhaps things will change and the energy will return to this local green-drinking movement with time but for now: "Green Drinks Hilo" is officially pau until further notice.

Thanks for your interest in the Hilo Chapter of Green Drinks. We've been going strong since our first "meeting" in January 2008..... however we are currently NOT MEETING regularly (as of Oct 2010).
WHO: Thirsty individuals striving to live green.
WHAT: Green Drinks HILO -- "beverage" drinking ...... An informal group of scientists, contractors, business-people, students, spouses, and other eco-friendly people that want to come together to share pupus, stories and drinks.
WHERE: To be decided ........ (does anyone know of any eco-friendly bars/venues in Hilo town??)
WHEN: First Thursday of the month, 5:30 pm until pau
WHY: To meet new people, fraternize, network, brainstorm sustainable solutions to local environmental problems, eat and share stories. As always, bike-riding, walkers, bio-diesel vehicles and carpooling are highly encouraged!
