Still looking for a new coordinator to help keep GREENDRINKS a regular event!

Our meetups have been well-received for many years. We do need a team of dedicated volunteers to keep our events top of mind in our community.

Our exciting news is that we will host our very first GREENDRINKS by ZOOM.

Preserving Urban Tree Canopies with special guest Richard Boase

Tricity Greendrinks, sponsored by Tri-City Green Council, is hosting our first online event March 11th @ 7PM. "Doors" will open at 6:30 PM. Thanks for your patience while we admit people to the event. Do you love trees, notice or worry about their loss in the Tri-Cities? Join us for a presentation and discussion featuring guest speaker Richard Boase.

Richard Boase is the Environmental Manager in the District of North Vancouver. He will share his expertise about how effective tree protection is more than just bylaws. The best outcomes are achieved when the right trees are protected in the right places. This takes a collaborative effort involving the community, developers, and the more. Learn what you can do. Share what you have done!

When we can meet again in person we would love to find a new venue. meanwhile Gaetan Royer, a previous benefactor, has generously agreed to host our ZOOM meeting.

Previously for several years our MeetUps were held at Gallery Bistro in Port Moody. Sadly the venue, a heritage building, burned down and we resumed meeting at

Pasta Polo in Coquitlam.

We are grateful to everyone who assists in keeping our longstanding GREENDRINKS happening. Thanks to Sharon Goldberg and Mark Hosak for volunteering to help run our first ZOOM along with Gaetan.
