RULE: First Thursday every month. When that Thursday falls on any public holiday or there is any major conflict (Carnival week etc.), I will provide details via email for any rescheduling.
WHERE: under the trees at UWI Social Club, St. Augustine. Each participant pays for their own drinks and food. No cover charge or any fees. No RSVP necessary. Just come, lime, drink and talk...
HOW: Walk, cycle, taxi, carpool.
WHO: Anyone working on environmental issues or studying them.
FOCUS: No agenda or theme. Green Drinks is not a channel to circulate announcements or news about environmental issues. Green Drinkers are already deluged with information from thousands of other sources. Green Drinks is a place to go to get away from all that.
WHY: Fun, contacts, alcohol (or not), info, gossip, inspiration, business and pleasure.
NEW: Just go up to someone and say "Are you green?", and you'll be made welcome.
